I've never used Twitter, but it seems to me the biggest benefit is a large member pool. Seems like the twit channel on Jaiku is just a little light on chatter.

I'd just love to take one for a test drive. I'm curious if my 4 year old son would take a liking to it. He mostly uses our laptop for playing flash games online. Looks like you can install Flash 9 on it, but I wonder about the horsepower (not that it was designed for that...).

Not sales - just for personal use. I have a mix of stuff in mind: 1) I love autocomplete w/gmail for contacts, but, only 1 email address per contact. 2) I've started putting local businesses into My Maps on Google, so I can see where they are and have their contact info, but there's no tagging or search. 3) Simplicity...Although I've only looked at their demo video, Plaxo seems more complex than I'm looking for.
